FOREST SCORES

Forest Scores are short, poetic texts taken off gallery walls by visitors, who take the work out of the gallery and into the world where they can enact the score in their own time. The short texts guide simple meditative tasks which draw attention to the movement of matter between human and tree bodies. The work traces material exchanges happening around and through us, and suggests a relationship between bodies where boundaries are less fixed than often imagined and permeability stitches the world together.
